In Order

One visit, start to finish

Follow the whole thing in order — what helps the night before, how the day itself runs, and what your set needs once you’re home.

the night before

Come as you are

Please don’t feel you need to tidy your nails up before you come. Bitten, grown out, or still wearing product from another salon: none of it fazes me. I’ve worked on every kind of nail there is, and honestly I’m just glad you’ve booked in. Wherever yours are today, that’s where we’ll begin.

If you can, arrive with nothing on your nails. Wearing product from another salon? I can remove it safely first — just mention it in your booking notes so I set aside the time.

Planning nail art? Save a few photos of colours, shapes or designs you love. We talk through what suits your nails before I pick up a brush.

Skip the hand cream

Moisturiser right before your appointment makes it harder for gel to bond, so leave your hands bare that morning. Every set finishes with cuticle oil anyway, so they won’t stay dry for long.

the drive over

Greenvale, with easy parking

The studio is in Greenvale 3059, in Melbourne’s north. I share the exact studio address once your booking is confirmed. It keeps the studio calm and private. Parking is easy on the quiet suburban streets out front, so there’s no circling a packed shopping-strip car park.

  • Roxburgh Park & Attwood — just a few minutes up the road.
  • Craigieburn & Westmeadows — about ten minutes’ drive.
  • Sunbury & Tullamarine — comfortably within twenty minutes.

Running late? Give me a call on 0466 288 971 and I’ll do my best to work around it. There’s a 10-minute grace period. After that I may need to simplify or shorten your service so the next client isn’t kept waiting.

in the chair

Quiet, unhurried, one-on-one

The studio is a calm, private space rather than a salon floor. There’s no counter to queue at, and you’ll never share your appointment with another client. It starts on time and runs one-on-one from first file to final top coat.

I set aside a full appointment just for you and I don’t double-book, so there’s no reason to rush. Bring your coffee, queue up a podcast, or just enjoy the hour of quiet.

Hygiene is part of the quiet too: fresh files for every client, and metal tools sterilised between appointments. When we finish, pay however suits you, card or cash on the day, and there’s no deposit needed to book.

See everything I offer

that evening

Aftercare begins

Your part of the job starts now, and it’s mostly small daily habits. The one that matters most begins tonight: a drop of cuticle oil rubbed into each nail. The full list is just below.

week three

Infills, and the odd repair

As your nails grow, the balance of the set shifts. BIAB and Gel-X stay strong when they’re maintained on time, so an infill every three to four weeks keeps everything sound.

And if a nail breaks before then, no need to wait for your next full appointment. A repair visit fixes a single nail fast, so one break never costs you the whole set.

Aftercare

Keep your set flawless

A good set is a two-person job. I handle the application, and the small daily habits are your part.

Cuticle oil, every day

A drop rubbed into each nail morning and night keeps gel flexible and stops lifting at the edges. It’s the single best thing you can do for your set.

Gloves for cleaning and gardening

Household chemicals and soil are the fastest way to break down gel. Pull on gloves before the dishes, the bathroom or the garden bed.

Never pick or peel

Peeling gel off takes layers of your natural nail with it. When a set is ready to come off, book a removal instead — it’s quick and gentle, and your nails come out conditioned.

Not sure what your set needs?

Send me a photo and I’ll tell you honestly whether it’s an infill, a repair, or time for a fresh set.
