Meet Gina

From walk-in rush to one quiet chair

I spent enough years in walk-in salons to know what I didn’t want. Being hurried out of the chair while someone new waited by the door was the worst of it. So I opened a private studio in Greenvale, where the only appointment I’m thinking about is yours.

I’ve been working with gel and BIAB since 2019, so that’s 7 years of prep, structure and finishing by now. Every set is a bit of a team effort: you bring the reference photos and your honest opinion, I bring the product knowledge and a steady hand, and between us we land on nails that suit your hands.

When you book here, the time is genuinely yours. Nobody’s waiting behind you and my attention doesn’t get split, so the appointment stays unhurried from prep to top coat.

Between Every Client

The between-clients ritual

Here’s exactly what happens between one client leaving and the next one sitting down, so you never have to wonder.

Fresh files, every client

A file that has worked on someone else’s nails never touches yours. Everyone gets new ones, every single time they sit down.

Metal tools, cleaned then sterilised

Cuticle nippers, pushers and scissors are cleaned and sterilised between appointments. That holds on the busy days too, not just the quiet ones.

Single-client buffers

Buffers can’t be sterilised properly, so I don’t reuse them across clients. Yours works on your nails and no one else’s.

A clean towel, every visit

A freshly laundered towel goes down before every appointment. It costs me nothing and I never skip it.

And if something doesn’t feel right during your appointment, please say so. I’d much rather fix it in the chair than have you go home wondering.

The studio standard

A few habits I keep for everyone who books. There’s nothing grand about them, they’re just how I work.

Hygiene as practice

I run the same cleaning routine between every booking, whether I’m ahead of schedule or running behind. You can read exactly what that involves just above.

Products chosen with care

Professional-grade gel and builder systems, chosen for how they wear and how they treat the natural nail underneath. I test a lot of products, and the ones that aren’t kind to your nails don’t stay.

One-on-one, always

I never double-book. From the moment you sit down to the final top coat, the appointment is yours and so is my attention.

A quiet space, on purpose

There’s no waiting area because nobody waits: when you arrive I’m ready for you, and for that hour the room in Greenvale is yours. The person you message is the person who does your nails, too — that’s me answering, not a front desk.
